About the event
Donations can be made through #IVEGOTYOURBACK911 Here
This year Shawn has decided to support the #IVEGOTYOURBACK911 campaign, which supports all those who have to deal with traumatic incidents in the workplace. The campaign proudly supports Paramedics, Police, Fire, Emergency Telecommunications, Nurses, Corrections and the Military. Proceeds will also be donated to Boots On The Ground, which is an anonymous helpline providing confidential and anonymous peer support to First Responders across the province, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is a charitable organization completely run and staffed by volunteers. This will be the third year that CrossFit Orangeville's very own coach and Peel Police Officer Shawn Pontone is doing the 12-hour event to create awareness and help raise funds for first responders. Starting on June 15th at 7 am, Shawn & friends will complete a “Hero WOD” every 2 hours until 7 pm. When asked why, Shawn said…
